Hurricane Damage: Roof Tarping & Water Damage in Navarre, FL
Qlab Solutions helps Navarre homeowners on the mainland and on Navarre Beach recover from hurricane and tropical storm damage. We install emergency roof tarps, extract water and dry the structure, and remediate mold under our Florida DBPR licenses, with IICRC-certified technicians on every water job.

Shingles blown off in Navarre? Cover the roof before the next rain
High winds off Santa Rosa Sound strip shingles and expose roof decking, and rain then goes straight into the attic, soaking insulation, ductwork, and ceiling drywall. We tarp the damaged area to stop the leak, then check and dry the attic and ceilings, on the mainland and on Navarre Beach.
Our IICRC-certified technicians document the roof and the moisture readings in a certified damage report for your insurance claim, and we guide you through each step of the recovery, through the permanent roof repair.

Learn MoreWhat storms do to Navarre homes
Navarre faces Santa Rosa Sound, with Navarre Beach across the bridge on Santa Rosa Island. Hurricane Dennis made landfall on Santa Rosa Island in 2005, a year after Hurricane Ivan, and both storms damaged roofs and flooded homes on both sides of the sound.
Much of Navarre is newer single-family construction on slabs, with air handlers and ductwork in the attic. When shingles or decking are lost, rain reaches the attic first and soaks insulation, ducts, and ceiling drywall before it shows up in the living space. A tarp stops more water from getting in. Then we dry the attic and ceilings and check whether mold has started where moisture stayed trapped.
How our water damage mitigation worksWhat happens after you call
The same steps for every home, documented so you and your insurance company can see what was found and what was done.
Free inspection
We inspect the roof, attic, and living areas, and map moisture with meters and thermal imaging.
Stop the water
Damaged roof areas are tarped and the water source is stopped, so the damage does not keep growing.
Extract and dry
Standing water is extracted, unsalvageable wet materials are removed, and the structure is dried with air movers and dehumidifiers.
Treat mold if found
If mold is present, it is contained and removed under our Florida DBPR mold remediation license.
Document everything
You receive photos, moisture readings, and a certified damage report for your records and your insurance claim.

Navarre Storm Damage FAQs
Common questions from homeowners in Navarre and on Navarre Beach.
Talk to our team. We serve Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa Counties.
(786) 746-7599Do you work on homes on Navarre Beach?
Yes. We serve homes on Navarre Beach and on the mainland. Many beach homes are elevated, so storm damage there is often roof damage and wind-driven rain on upper floors rather than floodwater at ground level.
Rain came through the roof into my Navarre attic. What needs to be done?
First the roof opening needs a tarp so no more water gets in. Then wet insulation, ductwork, and ceiling drywall are checked with moisture meters and thermal imaging. Soaked insulation is usually removed, and ceilings are dried or replaced depending on how wet they are.
Can mold grow in my attic after a roof leak?
Yes. Attics trap heat and humidity, so wet decking, insulation, and framing can grow mold if they are not dried properly. Our mold remediation team handles containment and removal under our Florida DBPR license.
Do you provide water damage mitigation in Navarre?
